The DS Series features a one-piece cast iron foundation and a genuine slant bed design, delivering high mass and rigidity within a compact footprint. The increased mass enhances structural stiffness and improves heat dissipation.
The patented slant bed design increases axis travels to 220mm in X, 40mm in Y, and 350mm in Z, reducing overall machine size without compromising stability.
Equipped with a CNC programmed hydraulic tailstock, a 12-station powered turret, and a powered milling head that can be mounted in upper or lower positions on the Y-axis (turret), the machine offers high cutting rigidity. It is suitable for long shaft turning, milling, drilling, tapping, and other complex multi-process operations.
The spindle with C-axis function provides high speed, high precision, and low vibration for superior workpiece accuracy. Each spindle bearing assembly is dynamically balanced before installation to ensure stability during high-speed operation.
Taiwan-made ball screws and linear guides provide high-precision, low-vibration tool movement.
An automatic lubrication system ensures smooth transmission operation and long service life.
A robust hydraulic chuck can accommodate bar stock up to φ51mm and individual workpieces up to φ62mm in diameter.
The SYNTEC CNC system or other CNC system works in harmony with high-quality electrical components to deliver fast operation and durable performance.
Machine offers extensive material compatibility, capable of turning materials such as brass, bronze, aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and rigid plastics. It handles bar stock up to φ51mm in diameter or individual workpieces up to φ300mm. The high-rigidity cast iron construction enables the machining of harder materials while achieving superior surface finish quality.
